My Favorite Summer Job

For a summer job, the youngest have much’s choice: Mowing lawns, working at a gas station, working on farm etc. Last summer I have chosen the job of waiter and I do not regret my choice.  I met several people, some have even become my friends being a waiter is really hard but it is also very dynamic and very rewarding. In short, the job of waiter is fun but harder than you think.

           

The hardest part about being has waiter is to always have to think about everything at the same time. You should always take care of several tables at the time. If someone wants a pop and another wants a Hamburger you don't always have time to write it on a paper to remember. So, you must be always alert and attentive to the needs of the people.

Being a server is very rewarding. If you do your work well, usually people thank you and Give You tip. People come into the restaurant to have fun. So there is a very pleasant atmosphere. What is most pleasant in the job of waiter is, you established links with customers sometimes even you made new friends.

the profession of waiter is not just to serve people. You also have to do the dishes, sweep the floor, cut raw vegetables etc. This makes the jobless repetitive and more fun. It should also be very organized with the cook because if you do not go take the plate of food on time the plate can’t be serving. So we must always keep an eye open.

           

In short be a server takes a lot of patience, energy and time. But at the end you will be proud of you and you will want to continue working for this job. For me, in all jobs I have done, the job of waiter is really the best.
